One month and counting...

Tyler is now one month and 5 days and everyday Jared and I look at him and hold him in our arms, we feel like the luckiest people in the world.  He is perfect. Tyler is awake longer; taking in his surroundings with his wide eyes and whistle formed lips.  He loves people and is most comfortable in someones rocking arms and loving energy.  If the room is quiet and he is sleeping, he'll peek them open a bit just to make sure you are still there.  He is such a sweet boy and we love how his personality is forming more and more each day.  The days go by fast, but we enjoy every moment spent with our little boy and all the greatness he has brought to our lives!

He loves his sling. Anytime he is fussy I just strap him in this and play LMFAO's Party Rock Anthem and he goes right to sleep!

All tuckered after a long day.

Ty Ty is 1 week old!!

We are already seeing a lot of changes in his growth and actions as a week old baby.  The day after we left the hospital we went back to make sure everything was going well with his weight and breast feeding.  He lost 5% of his body weight and has been breast feeding great, so has gained all of it back.  His tummy is bigger, as well as his head!  His hair is getting lighter and the umbilical cord is slowly drying out.  He also has a lot of really cute facial expressions and smiles like his daddy!  We just love every part of him so much and has brought so much joy to us and our families.  

He also been pooing and peeing a lot....and everywhere. We definitely have to do laundry a lot more now...not only his, but ours. I always heard that you have to watch out for baby boys when they pee.  What I didn't know is that I'd have to watch out EVERY time.  No joke, he will have a poopy diaper and as we're changing it he will projectile poo everywhere.  He actually had a record of 2 meters today (I'm entering him in the Guinness Book of World Records).

Don't know why this pic keeps turning vertical, but it's one of my favorites.  Andrea's baby, Jackson (2 months) and Tyler (5 days)!
